Oakland based Producer Songwriter James Wavey aka Michael Bridgmon aka Alleyes ManifestAlleyes Manifest is known for rhythmic poeticisms and presents them in a psychedelic soulful hip hop style. Raised in the Church he discovered his love for music listening to Gospel choirs and singing during worship. His music can be viewed as multi genre creating tunes reminiscent of Sam Cooke, RZA and futuristic writing like Hendrix. Wavey has heralded favorable press and plays from KQED, National Public Radio, Creative Loafing and more. Performing with live solo or with a band he sets a unorthodox presents that is jarring yet uplifting. Wavey is always creating searching for new sounds to make. With 6 albums released 4 of them on Vinyl LP his main incentive is to make timeless music for the people.
