The Corners Run Crew are excited to announce the culminating session of their highly anticipated second season of the 'At The Corner' Real Talk Speaker Series.
'At The Corner of The Creative Act & Rewriting Personal Narratives' with Daniel Goodman
Daniel Goodman is a manager and strategist working at the intersection of artist/brand development and sustainable wellness. A multidisciplinary storyteller, he focuses on marketing, strategy, and partnerships + collaborative funding for clients across the creative industries (with a focus on music) to get their voices articulated, funded, and heard. He also acts as a professional speaker and writer facilitating conversations around brotherhood, vulnerability, and mental health, coaching men on how to turn their mess into their message, convert their wounds into their wisdom, and transform their narrative to live a life empowered by clarity, consciousness, and care. As a member of the disability community, he integrates his own experiences with cerebral palsy to develop spaces, experiences, and writing that acknowledges equity, prioritizes access, and inspires conversation while forging community and producing immersive storytelling
Combining meditation, a collaborative roundtable, and relational exercises that incorporate his own personal experiences, Daniel's session probes into what and why of our own personal stories, how that affects our creativity, and how we can reframe and alchemize our flaws and challenges to be more satisfied and empowered in our life's practice. The creative act is something available to all of us.

This series is an extension of our crew mission of making running inclusive and approachable. Space will be limited and the environment will be intimate and casual. We are partnering again with Kintec Footwear and Orthotics, lululemon St. Catharines, as well as our friends at De La Terre Bakery and Cafe, who have been hosting these events in their phenomenal and welcoming space. We are also very fortunate that our friends at Stoke Deli Bar are keeping the kitchen open so that we might enjoy their culinary magic. Lululemon has generously donated some incredible prize packages which will be raffled off at the conclusion of the evening.
Everybody is welcome, every time.
It's bigger than the run. Let's learn together.
