Associator Throwdown

1st Battalion, 111th Infantry (Stryker) is located in Southeastern PA and is a unit in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.  The battalion is equipped with some of the US Army's most modern equipment and maintains a constant high state of readiness to support the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania during emergencies when called by the Governnor and to answer the call for worldwide deployment when mobilized by the President.

1-111 Infantry (Stryker)

First Annual (we hope) Associator Throwdown. 
Registration: 4-person teams.  Limited to 20 teams.  Team captains will create their team during registration and register all four team members as that time.  Total cost for the team will be $80 ($20 per team member). Registration will cover cost to compete and a competition T-shirt.  You must designate each team member's name, email, cell phone, gender, and T-shirt size.  
Competition: Teams will be divided into two groups (half of the teams in one group, half of the teams in the other group).  Group A competes with Group B grading.  Then Group B competes while Group A grades.
Each person should be able to meet the following minimum requirements:
Movement (men/women)
Deadlift (135/95) Clean (135/95) Kettlebell swing (50/35) Double unders (at least two team members) Pull-ups (at least 12) Push Jerk Front Squat Box jump (24"/20") Turkish Getup (40/20) Rope climb
 
Timeline:
0800: Check-in, warmup time 0900: Competition Inbrief; group breakdown 0910: Workout #1 brief 0920: Group A prep 0930: Group A starts WOD #1 with Group B grading 0955: Group B starts WOD #1 with Group A grading the timeline will continue for the remaining two WODs.  Each WOD will not exceed 15 minutes.  Each team should have approximately 1 hour between WODs but will need to provide graders for the other group. Top 6 teams based on scores from WODs 1, 2, and 3 will advance to the final winner-take-all Championship WOD. 
After registration, before the competition: we will email additional information regarding parking and any updates in March.
