This year’s conference theme is Age of the Empowered: Promoting Social Justice and Equity Across the Adultspan. The Association for Adult Development and Aging recognizes that there are numerous factors impacting adult clients, students, and counselors. As we work to examine factors and systems that facilitate injustice, inequity, and oppression, we simultaneously work to dismantle them through our clinical work, research, advocacy and critical conversations with one another at the 2024 conference. Our conference theme this year strives to centralize empowerment as we work to make our society more just and equitable for all.
