Assemblage Art Workshop with Found Objects

Dianne Hoffmanis a self taught mixed media artist with a primary focus in found objects and recycled materials mingled with collage, paint and clay.  Her assemblage pieces convey nostalgic stories with impactful sentiment.  She has been a full time artist of salvaged and repurposed components since 2010 with work found in collections worldwide. Dianne maintains an abundant workspace atArc Studios and Galleryin the South of Market neighborhood of San Francisco.

Mixed media artist, Dianne Hoffman, will lead an <A HREF="http://diannehoffman.wixsite.com/artist/portfolio" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">assemblage art </A>making workshop open to all levels of experience and artistic backgrounds, providing an opportunity to learn useful techniques utilizing re-purposed, found objects. Dianne will share the secrets of her own professional practice, offer assistance to help guide your creative process and expand your scope of usable materials.
Topics will include:
*Scavenging, Picking and Storing *Glues, Adhesives and Altering Activators  *Letting Objects Tell Their Stories *Balance, Composition and Presentation This exclusive one-day workshop will take place on:  Sunday, May 19, 2019 12noon-5:00pm
at <A HREF="http://www.arc-sf.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arc Studios & Gallery</A> 1246 Folsom Street between 8th & 9th Streets in SOMA of San Francisco
