Event Overview:
Welcome to the ASPIRE Fall Conference. This year we will be hosting two events. Both events will run from 9 am-4 pm with doors opening at 8 am and we will have a similar schedule of workshops for each event. This year our events will be:
- October 16th at UO in Eugene
- October 18th at OSU Cascades Campus in Bend
You are registering for the ASPIRE Fall Conference at: Oregon State University Cascades Campus in Bend.
Schedule:
The ASPIRE Fall Conference will feature a keynote session followed by two breakout sessions then lunch. After lunch participants can attend three more breakout sessions. We will have multiple options at each breakout session. A complete agenda will be available on our website in September.
NOTE: In the event of a small turn out we hold the right to reduce the number of breakout sessions based on attendee preferences.
Meals:
Coffee and refreshments will be provided in the morning as well as lunch and a snack in the afternoon. We will not be able to reimburse any meals outside of the conference itself.
Travel and Reimbursement:
We can reimburse travel for some event attendees, see below for additional information. If you are requesting reimbursement, you are acknowledging that you are not receiving reimbursement from another entity.
Mileage Reimbursement Non-State Employees:
We will be able to provide mileage reimbursement for some participants. You are welcome to attend whichever ASPIRE conference best fits your schedule however for most participants we will only be able to provide mileage reimbursement from your home address to the nearest ASPIRE conference. Mileage reimbursement will be provided while funds last.
For example: If your home address is in Gresham, Oregon you will be eligible for reimbursement for the total mileage to the ASPIRE Conference at University of Oregon even if you attended the event in Bend. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
You must submit a travel reimbursement packet to receive mileage reimbursement. Travel reimbursement packets will be provided at the event.
Note: If mileage reimbursement presents an undue hardship and may cause you to not participate in the ASPIRE Fall Conference, please contact your ASPIRE Access Specialist or email: contactus@ASPIREOregon.org for further support.
Mileage Reimbursement State Employees:
We will not be able to provide mileage reimbursement for state employees. Please follow your individual department guidelines for mileage reimbursement.
Lodging:
Requests for lodging reimbursement will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you are requesting lodging reimbursement, please email us at contactus@ASPIREOregon.org as soon as possible to discuss lodging reimbursement.
Lodging will only be reimbursed up to the state rate of approximately $132 for Eugene and $126 for Bend. These rates may change in October 2024. Please contact your ASPIRE Access Specialist or email: contactus@ASPIREOregon.org if you have additional questions.
Payment
The registration fee for the ASPIRE fall conference is $25.00, this money helps cover some of the expenses related to this event. We will only be accepting payment via credit card through the Eventbrite platform, we will not be accepting cash or check at the event.
