ASPHN 2024 Convening On A Roll - A SLOW ROLL (hosted by Anthony Taylor)

Hey Family - Join mobility justice and equity outdoors advocate Anthony Taylor for a special ASPHN 2024 SLOW ROLL! We will explore the people, policy, and planning history that has created one of America's most accessible biking, walking, and outdoor communities. Slow Roll is a group bicycle ride in the Twin Cities that meets weekly (with some limited exceptions and special events). It is part of a national network of community rides that started in Detroit. Each week, we meet at different venues and take a unique route through the city, including all the major and minor neighborhoods that we are so proud of but may be underrepresented in the cycling/outdoors/nature conversation or the home of historically oppressed communities. Need a bike - We got you! (well, at least 50 of you) First reserved, first served. Please choose a bike at registration. $40.00 includes a gourmet meal and party hosted by TC Radio Hall of Fame DJ - Q Bear! You will receive a separate link for payment after you register.
