About this event

Chopsticks Alley Art created Asian American Healing Convening as a safe place for us to meet to address mental health challenges we are facing.

We provide an intimate environment for us connect, share, and reclaim our powers through food, storytelling, meditation, and art. Our goal is to continue providing AAh Convening every quarter to stay connected with our Asian community and continue building community to better support each other. This is a safe space by and for the Asian community.

For this convening, we will come together to explore our inner and outer landscapes through mindful reflections and creating art with natural elements. It will be both an exploration and opportunity to connect deeper with ourselves, each other, and our stories as Asian Americans.

For this event, we are pleased to have Mindfulness Coach/Author/Dietitian Julianne Kanzaki as guest facilitator.

A light lunch will be provided.

We encourage you to share this link with your friends who could benefit from this convening as this event.

NOTE: Our goal with this gathering is to provide a safe space for those who have an Asian cultural background or identify as Asians only so that we may comfortably connect with others of similar backgrounds and discuss issues that are faced within the Asian community. For this reason, we ask those who do not identify as Asian to opt out of this gathering, and join us for one of the many other events and workshops we host on a regular basis! Thank you for respecting our request.

RSVP required. Space is limited.
