WHERE: Grind AVL - 346 Depot St. Asheville, NC
WHEN: June 9, 2024 - Sunday - 2pm

Enjoy an afternoon of enlightenment as we walk down through history and celebrate what used to be here in Southside.

Urban Renewal wiped out a historically black neighborhood. Today it is called the River Arts District.

But local people know it as “Southside”.

Hear the story as told by Asheville's Black Historian, Priscilla Robinson.
