As the first step in establishing strong supplier relationships, RFP’s (Requests for Proposal) are an important tool for supply chain managers and procurement personnel. There is both a science and a human aspect in managing RFP’s in order to achieve favorable results, and both of these areas are discussed in detail. Case studies and specific RFP examples deepen understanding, provide insight into important do’s and don’ts, and form the foundation of your own RFP template.

His educational and training organization, based here on Long Island. Tom is an Honorably Discharged United States Naval Officer, and Merchant Marine Deck Officer.
Marty Polizzi
- Marty Polizzi has been a longtime board member of ASCM NYC LI and APICS serving the Supply chain community in sales, program development and education. Marty is retired from UPS as Regional Sales Training Manager. His sales courses in have long been sought out for his negotiation techniques. Marty is an adjunct professor at Farmingdale State College, teaching marketing and professional sales courses.
