Built in 1850 and expanded and refurbished throughout its time as a private residence, the Glen Foerd mansion is currently home to an array of historic domestic artifacts, American and European art, and contemporary art installations.Glen Foerd is a Philadelphia oasis situated at the confluence of the Delaware River and Poquessing Creek. The public is welcome to enjoy the grounds and spectacular river views.

Support local artists and enjoy a day of live music, food, and floral crowns.

Join us for a day of celebrating local Philadelphia artists. Learn more about what our 2022 Artists in Residence have been up to. Chat with our visual artist, Sarah Peoples as she leads groups through her interactive outdoor art pieces. Our teaching artists Marvin Hickman and Marcellus Armstrong are bringing back their famous floral crowns for a drop-in workshop. Watch highlights of Gnome Core created by our performance artist, Alex Tatarsky. Shop wares of local artists and don’t miss live music by folk rock band, Stella Ruze. Food will be available for purchase from Smoke Break BBQ and Bad Mother Shuckers with treats from Mister Softie.Bring a blanket or some chairs and enjoy the grounds and mansion which will be open for free self-guided tours. Donations are accepted but not required to attend. Please register in advance.
