The YouShine® Movement is launched by kapuPatel Photography to start a dialogue around the current definition of beauty as defined by society and media.

This movement urges us all as individuals and as a society at large to liberate ourselves from feature shaming, body shaming, color shaming and many more such narrow definitions of beauty. It is a movement of self-love and self-acceptance with all our perfect imperfecations.

The two campaigns featured in this exhibit inviteed 12 women and 12 teens to show up in their naturally beautiful state and have a dialogue around what beauty means to them.
