Our event brings people together to openly discuss and share ideas with like-minded individuals. We welcome entrepreneurs of all types, start-ups of all sizes, industries, and stages to join us in finding the inspiration, resources, and friends that will make them successful.
Whether our members are just beginning to build a company, or are years into their venture, We aim to refer to the best services available for helping them achieve their goals. We aim to work with sponsors and partners who share our vision in helping the start-up community grow and succeed.

Jim Williams | Microsoft

Jim Williams is a Cloud Solution Architect for Microsoft with a focus on AI and data analytics. He works with clients assisting them in evaluating, adopting, and deploying cloud based solutions. He's had several roles in his twenty years at Microsoft spanning consulting and technical pre-sales. He currently works with several financial services clients as they adopt Microsoft AI solutions.
 
Oliver Christie | Co-Founder at Moven AI

Oliver is an AI expert who helps both companies and governments innovate, apply and build advanced technologies. He has worked in multiple industries including finance, real estate, healthcare, transportation, and defense. He is a recent winner of a Google Moonshot and the IBM Watson Prize for Innovation. AI strategy advisor for Dell and SAP, a board member for Tech Transfer Days, NYAI, and Disruptive Technologists. He is currently helping to build the next generation of AI, based upon quantum physics and human cognition. 
 
Rachid Ounit | CTO &amp; Co-Founder at Biotia

Dr. Rachid Ounit serves as Chief Technology Officer at Biotia, a biotech startup he co-founded in New York City producing new AI-driven technologies for tracking infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance in hospitals. His work mostly deals with the design and development of automated workflow and fast systems capable of identifying and mapping pathogens and drug-resistance in patient rooms, floors and units thanks to a large volume of sequencing data.  Before Biotia, Rachid was completing his Ph.D. program in Computer Science at the University of California, Riverside where he built several AI-based software tools for the biotechnology community. Several of them became state-of-the-art and popular (200+ citations worldwide). His publications (10+ peer-reviewed articles and 700+ citations) appeared in journals such as Nature, Genome Biology, or Scientific Data, and were featured in leading news medias tracking innovations in genomics, like WIRED, EurekAlert! or Technology.Org
 
Harnish Jani | Director at BCG Digital Ventures

Harnish Jani is an award-winning designer, entrepreneur and innovation executive with nearly 15 years of experience launching industry-first disruptions. An eclectic thinker, Harnish has a multidisciplinary background in human-centered design, innovation management, product development and engineering. His broad range of experience has allowed him to deliver bottom-line successes and commercialize 30+ products and services that integrate substance, style and story.
At BCG Digital Ventures, Harnish serves as Strategic Design Director and Venture General Manager. In this role, his efforts lie at the crossroads of design, business, technology and culture. He works passionately to help organizations innovate and launch disruptive businesses while transforming their internal innovation culture.
Outside of DV, Harnish has partnered with a global roster of corporations, including Intel, Unilever, Dell, Samsung, Panasonic, Amgen, SC Johnson, Hamilton Medical and Life Technologies, among many others. Through this work, Harnish has been able to unearth game-changing opportunities, codify practices for evolving innovation methodology and mentor the next generation of leaders.
 
Zlata Sushchik | Founder of Star Seedz

After being named one of San Diego’s Top 5 Leading Women in business, Zlata’s previous life’s work by exampling the capabilities of the physical body, as a wellness educator, subsequent to her rise as a 26-time bodybuilding medalist, turned book author and podcast producer with over 5.2 million downloads, Zlata suddenly faced an existential consumerism crisis.
The unexpected awakening led Zlata to a comprehensive study of the human mind, earning Board Certified Practitioner training in Integrative Psychology and Neuro-linguistic programming, with alternative studies of human evolution in Transpersonal Psychology, Spiral Dynamics &amp; Integral Theory of Evolution. As a founder and leadership director of educative accelerator Star Seedz, Zlata bridges her in-depth knowledge of human behavior evolution and startup experience to build a more purposeful, profitable companies that create impact for the planet.
