Overview

This two-hour introductory course offers a clear, jargon-free overview of AI in dentistry: What AI is and where it is going.

Dinner will begin at 5:30 pm/Course 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Presented by: Fadi Ibsies, DMD

Topics include AI-assisted radiographic interpretation, clinical documentation, patient communication, and practice workflow, along with a candid look at the benefits, limitations, and key questions every practice should ask before adopting these tools. No technical background required.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define artificial intelligence and explain, in plain terms, how it is being applied in dentistry today
  • Identify current AI applications across clinical care, documentation, and practice management
  • Evaluate the benefits and limitations of AI tools and the key questions to ask before adopting them
  • Describe what near-future developments in dental AI may mean for their own practice
