Technology is a powerful platform that can help us identify and address issues of inequality and accessibility within our local and global communities. Our ability to make a difference depends on our individual experiences and backgrounds.

In choosing this challenge, you are working to create a solution that assists a community you care about. This challenge gives you the freedom to tackle the social good issue most important to you in whatever way you wish.

Solutions can be built with the technology of your choice, and leverage one or multiple Azure services in your solution, with a focus on artificial intelligence techniques. Your solution can be built with the tools, languages, frameworks and platforms of your choice.

Data Challenge

Data is being generated faster than ever with every click, tap, and swipe on your screen. This challenge focuses on finding ways to understand and utilizing this data to inform and empower others.

Puerto Rico has a variety of open data sets available, from public transportation, health, social services, education, tourism and more. We’re looking for projects that are either completely based on the open data sets (visualizing etc.), or leveraging open data as a part of a larger solution.
