Artful Explorers and Rusty Harden Studios invite you to come create with us! Artful Explorers offers free unguided, themed art events for you to draw, paint, or sketch in any medium.  Rusty Harden offers instructor-led classes for artists for all ages.

<h2>Create Art Inspired by Egypt, Ancient and Modern</h2> According to the <a href="https://www.presidency.eg/en/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arab Republic of Egypt</a> website Tourism page: Egypt, Um-El-Dunya, literally translated as Mother of the World, is an Arabic expression which Egyptians and others have used over history in reference to the country’s ancient civilization, superlatives and achievements making it a unique tourist destination. The “Mother of the World” houses a plethora of unrivaled tourist and historical attractions and thrives with archaeological treasures and wonders rendering it a classic vintage of history and civilization. Tourists travel far and wide to explore the Pyramids and the Sphinx and trace remnants of the ancient Egyptian civilization kaleidoscope of Islamic, Coptic, Roman, Greek and Pharaonic colors.Egypt is the cradle of ancient civilization nesting art and temples. The beautiful stretches of picturesque beaches are a magnet for sun-lovers. Every city casts its own spell, some harbor old temples while others boast of immaculate handicrafts. However, they never fail to radiate history, culture and dynamism.Egypt is the throbbing heart of the Arab world amalgamated in beauty, fused with warmth and sanctified by holiness. It is literally a global historical archive, giving rise to civilizations and bewildering a great many people celebrating it. It is indeed the capital of art, life, culture, science and religion.<h2>Saturday December 17th, 10 - 12:30 EST, 15:00-17:30 GMT</h2>Registration is open for this unguided event. Many explorers like to select a subject (or two!) before joining the event. We will show a short video at the beginning of the event, before breaking out into smaller groups for independent creating and artful exploring in the media of your choice!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW<ul><li>This is not a guided event.</li><li>The session starts with an introduction to our subject, then explorers break out into small groups to create whatever they choose in whatever medium they choose.</li><li>Please come on time (or 15 minutes early)! You won't want to miss the introduction and video of our topic. The event opens around 9:30 AM EST.</li><li>The topic is introduced in the large group starting about 10:00 AM EST with an introduction to the event and a video guide of the topic.</li><li>We break into smaller groups after the intro, between 10:20 and 10:30 AM EST.</li><li>Explorers share their work with each other in a small group, then rejoin the larger group at around 11:55 EST for more sharing. While the event officially ends at noon EST, you are welcome to stay on, share, and chat. </li><li>You need to register from this page to participate. If you register, you will receive email links to the event. Click the Register button above on the right.</li><li>As soon as you're done registering, you will receive an email with the login info, you will receive another email a few days before the event, and again about an hour before the event. IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR EMAIL from Eventbrite, (it may say from ARTFUL EXPLORERS) please check your junk/spam folders.</li><li>The virtual event starts Saturday at 10 AM EST.</li><li>Registration closes ten hours before the event; you must register to get the online link to the event from Eventbrite and/or the meeting organizers.</li><li>There are no fees. All drawing skill levels are welcome.</li><li>This is a global group.</li></ul>
