    About the artist:

    Visual artist Stephen T. Johnson has created art for diverse audiences through a variety of mediums. Johnson is an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator, a commissioned public artist, and has exhibited his paintings, drawings, and sculptures in a wide array of museums. He is also an experienced art teacher for learners of all ages. Johnson is currently featured in The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures’ Art of the Imagination case with work from his Literal Abstractions series, which explores new ways to visually represent language.
