Join the San Benito County Arts Council for their 8th annual Art of Eating: A Farm to Table Benefit for the Arts, featuring a 4-course meal prepared by chefs Carlos Canada and Nancy Sorgatz, local & regional wine, and world-class entertainment. This event takes place in the gorgeous surroundings of Paicines Ranch and blends the worlds of art, culture, agriculture and community through the art of eating.

This year’s dinner is from 5-8 pm, Sunday, July 21st, 2024 at Paicines Ranch.

The 2024 Art of Eating will include music by DJ Ugly Eye and artist speakers Yanoe x Zoueh.


All proceeds from the event will support the Arts Council's Arts in Education Program, benefiting over 8,000 local students every year in San Benito County.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, attendees must be 21+.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

FROM HOLLISTER:

  • Go 10-12 more miles on Highway 25- past Ridgemark golf course, Tres Pinos (speed limit 35), then past Bolado Park (county fairgrounds).
  • Approx. 1 mile after you get to Paicines (general store on left) you will turn right on Cienega Road (about 10-12 miles from when you first entered Hollister).
  • Cienega Road runs directly and immediately into the ranch driveway. Do NOT follow Cienega after it turns left - the ranch gate is immediately in front of you.
  • There is plenty of parking near the event activities.

What can I bring into the event?

Attendees are advised to wear sensible shoes due to the ground unevenness and a sweater, shawl or light jacket for the evening.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are given up to 30 days before the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we have all of your information on our guest list.

Do I need to bring cash to the event?

Yes, that is advised since we will have raffle items and additional glasses/bottles of wine available for purchase. Personal checks are also accepted.

I have dietary restrictions. Will I be able to eat the food?

Yes, we will have dairy-free, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Please contact us if you have questions about the menu at 831.636.2787.
