About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Meet at the Salado Outdoor Classroom. Once gathered, the group will go on a short nature walk to gain some inspiration for the papercraft activities. Then we'll return to the Salado Outdoor Classroom to make some nature-inspired artwork. We'll dabble in the ancient art of Origami - paper folding, and some other cut-and-fold techniques.

Encounter the tree that inspired Mayor Phil Hardberger, explore the Borrow Pit, and learn a little bit about these unique features here at Phil Hardberger Park.

Please note, Origami may be difficult for younger children and requires patience and use of fine motor skills.
