Art in the Park: Botanical Drawing

Meet outside the Urban Ecology Center. Once gathered and after an introduction, the group will go on a short nature walk into the park to gain some inspiration for the drawing activities. We'll examine plants out in nature, identify, and and draw them inside of small pocket journals to take home.

Encounter the Savannah Restoration and Wildscape Demonstration Garden and learn a little bit about these unique features here at Phil Hardberger Park. Please note, this Art in the park includes a nature walk and will be entirely outdoors, weather permitting.

Bring a light folding chair, comfortable shoes, and water to stay hydrated.
