About the Artist

From teaching to Art, conservation and various life-changing experiences-

folklore, architecture, linguistics and science inform and interweave

throughout Dass’ works; often exploring the tapestries of our lives during

these mad times. I believe if we can take a breath, we will see that we are all connected- help me to create new pieces which hopefully will inspire a rebuilding of the

ecosystems around us.

Photography skills nurtured by Rosetta Arts, Dass produces mixed media

works using acrylics, watercolours and oils; he also experiments with epoxy

resin, beeswax, eggshell and tile grout materials to produce base-relief and

textured artworks.

A collection of Dass’ works has been displayed at the Newham Show (2019)

and Lauderdale House (2021). He has also attended Christie’s Negotiating the

Arts Market course (2021).

August 2023 saw his first solo exhibition in Ealing Broadway entitled Nature

and Thought. With an array of exciting new projects in the pipe-line, Dass will

be taking an Art Residency in the Island of Mauritius in 2024.
