Activism Art Series: Paint a BUN!
Come join us at Drawing Board Brewing Co. for a fun and creative event where you can express your artistic side while supporting a good cause! In this Activism Art Series session, we will be painting BUNS - yes, those cute little leapers that hop around! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, this event is perfect for everyone. Let's come together, paint some BUNS, and make a difference through art!
Your ticket gets you materials, instruction, and your choice of any 12 oz beer, or non-alcoholic option.
Art Activism Series
Her most recent project is the Art Activism Series. It is a “flexy” art class where people can come and express their love of animals through paint.The idea behind the series is to focus on ONE animal and use art to express however the individual would like- either through speaking up for them through art or by simply celebrating WHO they are as a species.
Another goal of this series is to donate to another nonprofit. Nonprofits helping other Nonprofits! Yes-STB is trying to raise funds themselves but this is a great networking opportunity, support and awareness for other creatures- not just buns. Our next focus animal will be the ORCA! We plan on donating partial proceeds that benefit another organization that helps whales and other marine mammals! Stay tuned for more info!
About the Instructor:
Mallory Cormier is a vegan, animal rights activist and the founder of Save The Buns, Inc.
She creates ACTIVISM art as a side hobby! All art she creates is utilized to bring awareness about animals and how they are exploited. However, her main focus is animal testing and she promotes heavily, for alternatives over the use of animals in research and experimentation.
