This is a live interactive 2-hour workshop that includes herbs shipped to students within the US. You can participate from anywhere you have an internet connection! You do NOT need to be in our area to take this workshop!

Join us for a hands-on two-hour interactive workshop on making aromatic herbal bitters. You will learn all about how they work, ways to squeeze them into your diet and your tasty beverages; and then roll up your sleeves, because you’re going to make your own custom-blended bitters with ingredients that we send you!
Students will get experience formulating a bitters blend from scratch and also creating specially-blended bitter edibles (bittables!).
You will also learn about making bitter simples and the beautiful complexity of creating formulas that join potent medical herbs with aromatics to create one-of-a-kind blends. We’ll discuss packaging and labeling of bitters, as well as creative ways to introduce these powerful medicinal creations to others!
At the end of this information-packed makers workshop, you will have created a customized formulation that you personally make and blend, several bitters simples, and your own bittables creation that will be made during the interactive class!
You will need: All preparations we make in this workshop are designed to be made in the home kitchen. Students will need basic kitchen gear like a saucepan/heat source, spoons, bowls, storing jars for the preparations, cheesecloth, strainers, etc. A list of exact materials will go out prior to the live class for students who want to make their creations during the session!
* Attendance to the live class is optional, as is medicine making during class. Class will be recorded for students to view later.
Herbs are only shipped within the US. International shipping is not available for this workshop. International students can request a list of the herbs that we are sending out!
WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Date: September 11th, 2025. The live class is scheduled for 7pm central time. The session will be recorded and uploaded for review and download!
Registration is open until September 1st to allow enough time for class materials to ship to students within the US.
The e-classroom will close 30 days after the workshop date. Extensions are available for an admin fee. You can find the correlating admin fees on our Tuition Policy page.
