Amateur Comedy Contest at The Burren

Every Wednesday at 10pm, the back room of The Burren Irish Pub is the place to see a mix of comics ranging from first timers to national headliners. It’s a no-cover, low-stakes hang where amateurs from far and wide compete for a $50 cash prize while veterans of the scene stop by to try new material on one of Boston comedy’s favorite stages. Did we mention there’s no cover?
