Arizona Trail Day - Page Hike at Stateline Trailhead

Join the Arizona Trail Association for a hike from the Stateline Trailhead for Arizona Trail Day in Page! This event is part of the Gateway Community Celebration taking place from 9am - 2pm. See http://www.aztrail.org/trail_day/page.html for more details.

Participants will be shuttled courtesy of Colorado River Discovery from the Trail Day event at Sanderson's Into The Grand, located at 148 6th Avenue. We will be leaving promptly at 10:00 am. The drive to the trailhead takes approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

We'll hike from the Utah terminus of the Arizona Trail south and back for approximately two hours, with a stop for a snack with a view. The trail is level for the first part, then ascends the hillside via a series of switchbacks.

Please bring the following with you to the hike:

1. At least one liter of water.

2. Snacks for the day

3. Camera.

4. Sunscreen.

5. Sun Hat.

6. Sunglasses.

7. Comfortable hiking attire.

8. A positive attitude.

9. Warm layers depending on weather
