Overview
ARIDE is a 16-hour course that is designed to train law enforcement officers to observe, identify and articulate the signs of impairment.
The goal of the course is to reduce impaired driving incidents and crashes which result in serious injuries and fatalities. The course will be instructed by Drug Recognition Experts and Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors. This course has been approved for 16 hours of CPT.
Requirements: Be a certified law enforcement officer and have completed a certified SFST course OR a prosecuting attorney located within the state of Ohio.
