This two-part program is designed to ignite the creativity and curiosity of young architectal designers aged 6 to 12. Here's a glimpse into the exciting activities planned:
MORNING SESSION
STUDY ARCHITECT OF THE DAY
10:00am — 12:00pm
Discover the wonders of architecture as we discover into the works of renowned architects. From skyscrapers to imaginative structures, we'll explore the fascinating world of design through engaging presentations, sketching and discussions.
LUNCH
12:00pm — 1:00pm
Recharge with a delicious and nutritious plant based lunch, providing the energy needed for the afternoon's hands-on activities.
AFTERNOON SESSION
DESIGN + IMPROV
1:00pm — 2:30pm
Get ready to unleash your creativity! Engage in a hands-on design challenge using cardboard and wood. Foster teamwork and problem-solving skills as you bring your architectural visions to life.
DESIGN + IMPROV
2:30pm — 3:00pm
Following the design activity, dive into 30 minutes of theatrical improvisation games for a burst of spontaneous fun.
LIVE MUSIC + SNACK
Be serenaded by the melodies of a live violinist, creating an inspiring atmosphere. Enjoy a delightful snack to refuel before the final segment of the day.
SNACK AND READING WITH PARENTS
3:00pm — 5:00pm
Wind down the day with a snack, and join your parents for a special reading session. Immerse yourself in stories related to architecture and design, fostering a love for learning and creativity.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Materials: Bring a bottle of water, and for the design challenge, any specific materials mentioned in advance.
NO ELECTRONICS To fully immerse in the hands-on activities, we encourage a break from electronic devices during the program.
PARENTAL INVOLMENT
Parents are invited to join for the afternoon reading session from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, enhancing the bonding experience and allowing them to witness the creative endeavors of their young architects.
