About this event

7 sessions Thurs 7-9pm ET, Feb 29, Mar 14 & 28, Apr 11, 25, May 9, 23, 2024

A live, interactive online workshop for white women (including trans women and non-binary people) looking to challenge the ways white feminism shows up and is perpetuated by white cis gender women. Many white women have little knowledge of our background, including critical ways we have been shaped by and help to shape white supremacy. Let's learn together to bend our arc toward justice!
1. This registration is for ONE person.
2. All sessions will be videotaped.
3. There will be advance readings and homework between each session. We strongly recommend you attend at least 5 sessions live.

How does our mix of statuses impact white women as anti-racist activists? What is the narrative arc of white women from early European roots to the present day? How does this narrative shape us?

How have racism and patriarchy obstructed a sisterhood between Women of Color and white women?

Can we undo the racism of white feminism?

Who are the models for white anti-racist women?

Let’s learn together and empower ourselves to claim our full womanity! This course is designed for people socialized as white and female, who are concerned with the intersection of white women's issues and anti-racism. Facilitated through the lens of two cis white women looking to challenge the ways white feminism shows up in and is perpetuated by white cis gender women. We will also recommend and offer to organize participants into small accountability groups that meet between sessions
