Arboretum Fall Migration Bird Hikes
Learn about the birds that migrate through Central Illinois each fall!
Join Allerton Natural Areas Manager Nate Beccue for Arboretum Fall Migration Bird Hikes on Thursdays, Sept. 25 & Oct. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Illinois Arboretum in Urbana. Meet in the Arboretum Parking Lot*.
In the fall, birds begin to move south and each week the variety of bird species in the park will change. A limited number of binoculars will be available on a first-come basis. At times the hikes will leave the trails, so please dress accordingly.
$10/person. Hikes are free for Allerton Bird Club members. Join the Bird Club here. All sales are final. If a meeting location changes, registrants and bird club members will be notified by email.
*Limited metered spots are available in the parking lot near the Noel Welcome Garden and along South Lincoln Avenue (electronic payment only by MobileMeter). Additional parking is available in the lot south of the Japan House.
Learn more about the space where your course will take place here. If you will need disability-related accommodations to participate, please email Nate Beccue at nbeccue@illinois.edu.
By attending, you consent to your image being used in Allerton marketing, social media and publications. Please alert the photographer or videographer if you do not want your image taken
