What is Aquavit?
Aquavit is a central component of Scandinavian drinking culture and is typically sipped throughout the course of a meal as a "snap". Aquavit is made just like gin, but with caraway or dill instead of juniper. The flavor can differ based on what herbs and spices have been added and whether or not it has been aged.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase additional taster pours from Norden's barrel aged Kuriosa Kollektion. Or want to try it in a cocktail? The majority of Skål's cocktails are aquavit based to highlight the versatility of the spirit.
