The Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) is the criminal investigative arm of the Office of Inspector General, US Department of Defense. DCIS investigates matters related to DoD programs and operations; to detect and deter fraud, waste and abuse; and helps ensure ethical conduct throughout the DoD. The briefing by Special Agents from the DCIS New York Resident Agency will provide an overview on DCIS as an agency, its physical presence and capabilities in the local area, the agency's investigative priorities, warning signs or suspicious activities indicative of criminal conduct, and how to refer suspect companies or contacts for further vetting.
There will also be a presentation from DOJ Antitrust Division.
