If your boss told you tomorrow to update, migrate or create a new Georgia Tech website, would you know where to start, or how to go about it? Institute Communications has created a do-it-yourself site-building tool to help the Georgia Tech community get their websites up and running, no matter what the experience level.

Come join us on April 22 at 11:30AM for a presentation from the Institute Communications Web Team on the Drupal Express project.

Drupal Express is the combined effort of staff in Institute Communications, OIT, and other active members of the campus Drupal community to take the existing Drupal-based site building tools to the next level by crafting pre-configured websites available on-demand.

This presentation will include an overview of the current stand-alone resources available to the campus for building and maintaining websites, the pain-points of assembling them together, and how Drupal Express will work to do that for you.

We’ll do a live demonstration of “release candidate 1.0” of Drupal Express, review the related documentation, talk about next steps, and recruit volunteers to help test Drupal Express implementations.
