Description

Join members of the Creighton community to serve and learn with our local immigrant and refugee neighbors. We will do many projects to support the center, including helping with the donations room. We will also have the opportunity to learn more about refugees in the Omaha community.

Leadership Onsite:

Two Creighton students will direct the volunteer group by dividing tasks to maximize efficiency.

Reflection:

Each week will conclude with an Ignatian Reflection before returning to Creighton's campus.

Come once or come each week!

Please register for each Friday you wish to attend.

No need to bring money, just dress modestly.

  • Under the description of “what you will do as a volunteer,” please put “I will work in the donation room and tutor adult students in a classroom. I will be working with adults and will never be with a child without the direct supervision of a teacher.”
