Serve a meal and meet our neighbors at Siena Francis House, Nebraska’s largest provider of services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Creighton volunteers fill a variety of roles– serving a meal, practicing hospitality, and/or organizing items in the pantry. Student will need to register on the SCSJ eventbrite as well as Siena Francis House’s volunteer portal. We meet in the SCSJ and transportation is provided.
To be fully signed up to join the SCSJ for this weekly service site you must:
1) Sign up on this eventbrite link
2) Sign up on the same day on this Siena Francis House volunteer portal set up for SCSJ service. http://scsj.sienafrancis.volunteerhub.com/
- Sign up for the same date as the eventbrite you are registering for
- You may select any of the available volunteer roles: Dinner or dock & pantry

Two Creighton students will direct the volunteer group by dividing tasks to maximize efficiency.

Dress code: ALL Meal Service volunteers MUST wear closed-toed shoes which have rubber/non-slick soles. Dress modestly (no leggings as pants or biker shorts, please cover shoulders/ etc.) T-shirt and jeans are recommended.
