During this 2.5hr workshop your will upcycle a item from your wardobe using applique techniques and upcycled fabrics.

ATTENDEES: PLEASE BRING AN ITEM FROM YOUR WARDROBE TO UPCYCLE: TSHIRT, HOODIE, JEANS, TOTEBAG 🎀♻️

WHEN:

FRIDAY 29th MAY 2026 EVENING - From 6pm-8.30pm (attendees are welcome to arrive from 5.30pm)

WHERE: Flux Studios, 4 Chatham Row, Dublin 2, D02 PA06 (beside Stephens Green Shopping Centre!)

DETAILS: Led by Aisling Duffy, a slow fashion designer/maker, during this 2.5hr workshop your will upcycle a item from your warobe using applique techniques and upcycled fabrics.

Materials, equipment, scissors, thread, irons will be provided 🧵🪡💞✂️

Attendees are welcome to bring their own scrap fabrics (non-stretch fabric is best) scissors, embellishments if preferred.

Beginners are welcome - applique can be done using hand-stitch techniques

Experienced sewers are welcome to bring your own domestic machine to the workshop ( I will have one on site but you might have to wait to use)

*PLEASE NOTE: This is a 2.5 hour workshop, upcycling takes time - embellishment may need to be finished at home 💞🎀
