Come prepare for the application process and, if selected, the cohort.

The Preparatory Prerequisite workshops for our part-time Web Dev Foundations Program that will take place this fall will be done in two waves. The first wave is scheduled between July 6th and July 30th, 2026, from 6 to 8 pm PT, and the second wave of the same eight prerequisite sessions is scheduled between August 3rd and August 12th, 2026, from 6 to 8 pm PT.These are tailored to help interested pre-applicants prepare for the application process and, if selected, <a href="https://techtonica.org/software-engineering-program" title="https://techtonica.org/software-engineering-program" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Techtonica's Software Engineering Program</a>. Please sign up for at least four pre-req workshops and attend all four in order to be eligible for next steps in the application process. Please note that participants will also be expected to engage in independent practice before the sessions.By joining the workshops, you will be able to gain the necessary skills or information that will set you up for success by helping you meet the minimum entry requirements. Please note that it is not a guarantee that you will get a laptop allocation once you request one, as it will be based on several considerations.You'll need a laptop, a camera, Zoom, and a <a href="https://freecodecamp.org" title="https://freecodecamp.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">freeCodeCamp</a> account set up. We will send out the Zoom video call link before the event. Please watch for a Google Calendar invitation with a Zoom link to the meeting in your email.There may be photography and videography at this event.
