MIS seeks to align information systems & technology with the goals and objectives of the organization, dispenses technical services, and contributes to the strategic direction of NYCEDC. The department does this by keeping the infrastructure and environment in-step with technology and by integrating people, process and tools while working with internal staff and external agencies to constantly promote collaboration and improve efficiency. MIS is responsible for planning, choosing, buying and installing company’s computer and information-processing operation. MIS oversee the development of corporate standards, technology architecture, technology evaluation, manage vendor relations, align IT with the business and develop management information systems.
