About this event

This workshop will take place on June 5 and 6 from 9am to 11am at the LMU Convention Center in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.


Join local artist and storyteller Heather Lawson as she teaches you about the Appalachian tradition of Jacktales. Participants will learn the basics of storytelling, then they will act out a jacktale story together as a group. Join us for this fun exploration of Appalachian Storytelling.


This workshop is for participants ages 6 to 10.


The cost of this workshop is $30. Scholarships are available.


This workshop will be held in person at the LMU Convention Center in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.
