The hackathon is geared toward high school students in the Jackson area.

Do I need tech experience to participate? What if I don't know how to code?

Accepted Answer

No, if you're a beginner that's fine! We'll have technical mentors on-site to guide you through the process.

Question 3

What will I do at the hackathon?

Accepted Answer

You'll be placed on a team with other students and together you will come up with an app idea.

You will be assigned a technical mentor to help develop the idea, including making a logo, landing page, and functional prototype (ie. a simplified version of your app).

I'm not a high school student, but I'd like to be a mentor or a judge. Where can I sign up?
