APLD Virtual Chapter Mentoring Sessions - 4 sessions from February through May

The APLD Virtual Chapter&#x27;s goal for our Mentoring program is to provide Emerging Professional, Professional and Student members with information to help them become better designers and better businesspeople. Topics will be centered on the APLD Core Competency of Professional Business Practices. Members are welcome to join individual meetings or to sign up for a full “semester”. We will offer topics we think are relevant and are open to ideas from members as well. Each meeting will count as 1 hour of APLD CEU.The sessions will be led by experienced professionals both in and outside of the design field. Rachel Gioannini is heading this program up - she&#x27;s an experienced Landscape Designer and Educator, an Assistand Professor at New Mexico State University. Class Format is ZOOM- with face to face time and Q&amp;A after each session.WHEN: The first Thursday of the month from February to May, at 1:00-2:00 EASTERN TIME:Session 1: 2/3 - Photographing your workSession 2: 3/3 - Resale certfication/resale ethics and legalitiesSession 3: 4/7 - Portfolios, websites, and social media with Katie Elzer-PetersSession 4: 5/5 - What you do in your down-time, long term and ongoing projects, what YOU want with future mentoring sessionsCOST- $80 for all sessions for APLD Virtual Chapter members ($100 for APLD members and $120 for non-APLD members) OR $20 per session ($30 for APLD members and $40 for non-APLD members)You can purchase each session separately or all 4 at once. RECORDINGS- We will NOT be recording these sessions. The goal is to build community and to engage as a cohort with interaction. Therefore, these are LIVE sessions. We can&#x27;t wait to learn and grow together! SPACE IS LIMITED- do not procrastinate!
