PSU-AAUP represents over 1,200 faculty and academic professionals employed by Portland State University. We strive to defend the rights of our bargaining unit through advocacy, collective bargaining, and grievance procedures, and are committed to protecting tenure, due process, and academic freedom.

Attention ALL PSU Academic Professionals:
Please RSVP for three Thursday lunch sessions this summer – July 19, July 26, and August 2. 
This three-part series is the first-ever Summer Summit for Academic Professionals. 
APs work in dozens of different jobs in many locations on campus, but have few opportunities to come together as a group.  This series of lunchtime gatherings will give us a chance to:

<LI>Clarify and prioritize issues we’d like to see addressed </LI>
<LI>Strategize to determine the smartest approaches to these issues</LI>
<LI>Get to know each other and build AP cohesion and strength.</LI>
</UL>
Academic Professionals are a vital part of PSU-AAUP and PSU.  Let’s work collectively to make our wisdom and voices heard.  
 All three of the Summit sessions are noon to 1pm, in Smith; lunch will be provided by our union, PSU-AAUP.   Come to as many as you can.  See you there!
