Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center's 65th Anniversary Celebration

Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center will celebrate our 65th (sapphire) anniversary on September 27, 2024! The celebration and dinner will be 6 - 9 pm at Project 658, 3646 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC, 28205, and it will feature entertainment, music, community awards, and most importantly an inspiring celebration of recovery and renewal. We recently secured Ramona Holloway, co-host of the award-winning radio show “Matt and Ramona” as emcee for the event, and we anticipate 300 attendees.

Anuvia's unique role is providing substance use and mental health treatment to adolescents and adulst living in the community regardless of their abilityto pay. We were recently selected to become the only Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Mecklenburg County, a designation that is enabling us to expand behavioral health services to veterans and individuals with serious, persistent mental illness, as well as to reach families with family-strengthening and prevention programs. We directly served 8,921 unique individuals in FY 2022-23 and touched countless others through outreach and public awareness efforts.

Events like this celebrate the vital work that leads to health and recovery. They also enable us to continue to meet the growing behavioral health needs in our community while removing financial barriers to care. Proceeds from the event will allow Anuvia to maintain this "open door policy" so that all may learn the tools to live healthier lives. Please join us!
