The Tomaquag Museum is Rhode Island's only Indigenous Museum dedicated to sharing the culture, arts, history, and lifeways of the Indigenous people of Southern New England. Tomaquag was awarded the National Medal for Museum and Library Service in 2016, the nation's highest honor given to celebrate institutions that respond to societal needs in innovative ways, making a difference for individuals, families, and their communities. <p>At Cranberry Thanksgiving, join Solar System Ambassador, Chloë Gardiner, as she prepares you for the 2023 Annular Eclipse! Chloë will demonstrate how to create your own personal Solar viewer, teach you about about Eclipses, and inform you of important safety measures. Stay tuned for more details!</p><p>**Please Note: Anyone can visit Chloe’s station to create their Solar viewer, but those who register via the link below will also be attending the Eclipse viewing on October 14th! This series is for Natives only and there are limited spots available, so please hurry and register!</p>
