The theme of the 2024 Sickle Cell Symposium is, “Living Well with Sickle Cell: Navigating Pain,

Psychiatric Care, And Implicit Bias”.

The goal of the symposium is to bring together leading researchers, clinicians, patients, and community advocates to share the latest advancements in sickle cell disease, research, and treatment; identify current challenges and gaps; and develop strategies to accelerate progress toward a cure.
