Please join us on 7 May 2016 for the 3rd Annual Seminar of the Uppsala Rotary Peace Center!

In the seminar, entitled "Reflecting on Peace: Experiences of Rotary Peace Fellows", class XIII Rotary Peace Fellows will be presenting their research and sharing examples of working for peace and positive change from every corner of the world.

We are excited to present Martin Schibbye as our keynote speaker this year! His talk is entitled "Freedom of speech in the shadow of armed conflict".

The Annual Seminar will take place at Ihre-salen (in Engelska parken, Uppsala) from 9.15 am to 4:30 pm. Lunch and coffee will be served.

A detailed program will be sent out later to confirmed participants. As space is limited, please register early. Registration closes on 21 April.

Should you require accommodation in Uppsala, let us know and we will recommend hotels in the vicinity of the conference venue. Please note that the center is not able to cover your expenses for travel and accommodation.

On behalf of the Host Area Coordinator of the Uppsala Rotary Peace Center, Magnus Elfwendahl (elfwendahl@gmail.com), we would like to inform that a dinner will take place at Stockholm’s Nation in the evening following the Annual Seminar. Invitations for this event are distributed separately.
