Established in 1921, the Washington Heights and Inwood Chamber of Commerce’s (WaHI) mission is to support and foster an environment for economic development, stimulate and support local businesses and to help improve overall conditions in the community.The WaHI Chamber recognizes that “community improvement is good business” and therefore establishes partnership with public and private sectors to improve business and community conditions.  In doing so, the WaHI Chamber of Commerce seeks to create a strong, vibrant local economy that contributes to business growth, promotes tourism, a healthier neighborhood and that  enhances quality of life for the entire Washington Heights and Inwood community.
