FAQs

Can I pick my seats or does the system give me the best available at the time of purchase?

The system is designed to give you the best available seating at the time of purchase if the seating map won't display on your electronic device (which has been the case with certain devices or browsers). Be advised that once you have purchased your seats, there is no way to move them to a different table. Keeping that in mind, groups should purchase their tickets at one time to ensure sitting together.

Can I pay with check or cash rather than my credit card?

Yes, click on and print the "Mail-In" form located at www.cbmhouston.org/passover. Mail this form and payment to CBM and your tickets will be emailed to you.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Each person must have a printed ticket to gain entry into the Seder. Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your tickets and directions to the venue. Print your tickets and pass them out to the individual members of your party. There is no will call table to hold tickets for guests.

Where is the best handicap accessible seating?

The tables along the back row near the sound booth have easy wheelchair/walker access to the table, a good view of the stage, and close access to the restrooms and entry doors. Any table along the edge of the floor plan has a better wheelchair/walker access to the table than the narrow aisles between the tables.

Does the seder meal contain any chametz (leaven)? Is the seder meal gluten-free or dairy-free?

No leavening agents, wheat flour, bread, or dairy products are used in the preparation of the meal, including entree, salad, and dessert. Our adult meal generally consists of a grilled or baked chicken entree, potato starch, assorted steamed vegetables, garden spring mix salad, vinaigrette dressing on the side, and non-dairy mousse. Our child meal usually consists of grilled chicken strips/nuggets and the same sides, salad, and dessert. Matzah (unleavened wheat) is served separately in a basket on the table.

Can I purchase a vegetarian meal?

Yes, purchase the "vegetarian ticket" if you want the vegetarian meal. These meals must be pre-ordered and cannot be ordered that night. If your child would like a vegetarian meal, you must purchase an adult vegetarian ticket for them.

Are there any peanuts or other nuts used in the seder meal?

No peanuts are used in the seder meal, but the charoset (apple/nut mixture) contains walnuts. The charoset is placed on a separate seder plate and not on the main entree plate.

Can I purchase wine at the event?

FYI Each ticket includes one complimentary glass of kosher grape juice as part of the seder meal. Kosher wine will be available for purchase BEFORE the seder begins in the ballroom foyer. Limit one glass per adult. CASH or credit card accepted. Once the seder begins, wine sales will close.
