About this event

  • 2 hours

Expert lepidopterist JoAnne Russo will set up several moth-watching stations with sheets and ultraviolet lights and will be on hand to share her knowledge throughout the evening. Last year we counted over 52 species of moths, beetles, and other insects. That’s pretty good for just a few hours, and we hope to find even more this year.

Bring a camera or cell phone, a head lamp or small flashlight, and some eye protection like UV glasses, UV reading glasses or regular eyeglasses. Optional UV flashlights are welcome.

Registration requested. Free! Please consider giving a $5 donation at the door to support our events.

Parking at the Park & Ride by Stella's or the Lyme Historians parking lot.

THIS EVENT WILL NOT BE STREAMED OR RECORDED
