Monthly events of our short film open mics and screenings! 2 hour program of short films followed by a 1 hour mixer with other filmmakers! Meet a community of filmmakers and make an opportunity to collaborate and support one another on their film journey!

THE GREAT FILM CLUB✨ Animation Night! ✨📅 7:30PM – 11PM 🚪 DOORS OPEN @ 7:30PM 🎬 PROGRAM STARTS @ 8PM~ISH 🤝 MEET &amp; GREET MIXER @ 10PM~ISHJoin us for a night celebrating animation in all its forms! From hand-drawn shorts to digital experiments, stop-motion, and beyond—this is an open mic–style showcase where local animators can share their work and connect with fellow creatives. Expect about 2 hours of animated shorts followed by a 1-hour mixer to meet other artists and filmmakers.<h2>🎥 SUBMIT YOUR ANIMATED SHORTS</h2><ul><li>We encourage all submissions to be under 10 minutes.</li><li>Exceptional works between 10–20 minutes may still be considered.</li><li>🚫 No films over 20 minutes will be accepted.</li><li>Any film that is offensive, lacks artistic integrity, or is inappropriate will not be considered.</li></ul><h2>📩 HOW TO SUBMIT</h2>Our program is filled on a first come, first confirmed basis!Submit via: 🔗 <a href="https://filmfreeway.com/TheGreatFilmClub" title="https://filmfreeway.com/TheGreatFilmClub" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FilmFreeway</a>or📧 Email a downloadable link of your short film to <a href="" title="" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">thegreatfilmclub@gmail.com</a><ul><li>Subject line: LA ANIMATION NIGHT SUBMISSION + [Title of Your Film]</li><li>Include: your contact info + social media handles so we can stay connected.</li></ul>All filmmakers will be notified of acceptance by Oct 1st to give time to invite friends, fans, and fellow animators. If submissions overflow, we’ll add another Animation Night later in the month!<h2>🎟️ EVENT DETAILS</h2><ul><li>Admission: $20</li><li>Filmmakers: receive a promo code for discounted admission for themselves + one guest</li><li>Special Deal: For every 3 guests you bring, you’ll receive 1 complimentary ticket!</li><li>Concessions: Free (donations highly encouraged!)</li><li>Parking: Free lot + street parking available</li><li>Tickets: To avoid Eventbrite fees, we recommend paying at the door.</li></ul>🚫 NO REFUNDS.
