About this event

The evening will feature live painting from visual artist TBA

Andrew Meyer presents the arrangements of jazz standards and popular songs from the 1940s-1970s by Tom Padveen, a former trombonist with the Harry James Orchestra. Tom Padveen's arrangements are unique due to the instrumentation of five tenor trombones, two bass trombones and rhythm section. This music is currently not available to the public and can only be found in the hands of Padveens surviving friends and people who know them. There are currently no formal recordings of any of the music that will be performed.
